Perpetual favorites like Malibu of Surfside, Southside Grill, and Valentino’s might not get as much fame and press as some of the restaurants in Myrtle Beach, but they’re just as good (dare we say better) than what you’ll find on the Grand Strand. - We’re a Close-Knit Community
Only about 4,000 people live in Surfside year round, meaning that we all know our neighbors and truly welcome people into our community. Shopping and eating in Surfside Beach helps support the great people who live here! - Our Nickname is “The Family Beach”
We’re known as The Family Beach because we really put an emphasis on family. The beach is kid friendly, and we even have signs at beach entrances for kids to use as points of reference if they happen to get separated from their family at the beach. We also have a number of parks and places for kids and families to enjoy togetherness. - We’re An Autism-Friendly Vacation Destination
The Champion Autism Network has named Surfside Beach the first Autism-Friendly vacation destination in the US, which means that we welcome families from all walks of life to come vacation with us!
