This weekend is when the 2nd Annual Taste of the Marshwalk is taking place along the Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet. Why not come out and experience some of the most tasty dishes the area has to offer at thisevent from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, February 7-8.
Local chef’s from seven award-winning area restaurants will be offering some of their favorite dishes as samples for $3-$5. Come enjoy the local artisans, crafters, live music, and kids activities all along the MarshWalk during the event. Last year was a blast and had super attendance. This year will probably be even better now that word is out!
Samples will include small dish tasting of the area’s freshest seafood as well as non-seafood items for the land lovers, too. Enjoy tasty dishes like seared scallops, low country boil, shrimp & grits, crawfish, pulled pork, smoked salmon, BBQ, sushi, trigger fish tacos, and more.

There will be live music that will include popular local bands such as Randy McQuay, Ronnie O’Briant, Sweet Sweet, The Matt Parker Duo, Fret Buzz, Julio Navarro, Ed Torres, and more. Local artists, jewelry designers, crafters, wood carvers, and unique clothing items, will be featured among the many vendors present. There will be bounce houses, face painting, temporary tattoos, and crabbing demos for the children.
