Early risers will want to be a part of the Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk that takes place along Ocean Boulevard and the Boardwalk beginning at 7:30 a.m. on May 25. This event is free for active duty, reserves and veterans. Civilians are asked to pay $20.
The annual Myrtle Beach Memorial Day Parade is being held on Saturday, May 25 beginning at 10:30 a.m. The parade will travel from 27th Avenue North to 9th Avenue North and features parade floats, balloons and music.
Come take in a Big Band Concert by Andrew Thielen Big Band performing at 1 p.m. on Ocean Boulevard in downtown Myrtle Beach.
An official Memorial Day Ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 27 at the Convention Center Plaza in Myrtle Beach. Sponsored by the Grand Strand Patriotic Alliance. This event is open to the public.
The Surfside Beach Memorial Day Cook Out will be held at the Surfside Beach Pier on Sunday, May 26th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is open to the public. For more information call 843-650-9548.
