The Myrtle Beach Fall Motorcycle Rally takes place from September 30 through October 1 this year. The spring bike rally typically draws more people to the Myrtle Beach area than the fall event but even still, area businesses are expecting a lot more bikers than last year. Reservations are already up compared to last year. People who planned ahead were lucky to find a Myrtle Beach or Garden City Beach house rental already.
“The more the merrier, it’s great for tourism, great for the economy and anything we can do to boost that, helps out,” said Denise Triece of Myrtle Beach’s Harley-Davidson dealership. “It’s a little bit more laid back, there’s not as much going on but it’s still good for the people that are here,” Triece added.
Many of the bikers prefer the fall rally because the spring one is just too crowded. One visitor said, “There’s less people, the weather is good and the kids are back in school.” Indeed http://www.health-canada-pharmacy.com/products.html that pretty much sums it up.
The increased business spread beyond the motorcycle dealership to the local hotels and restaurants. Vacation realty companies saw an increase in rentals as well.
