There’s free nightly events going on from now through the end of September on Ocean Boulevard’s new boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. It’s called Ocean Boulevard’s Hot Summer Nights. If you’ve not visited the new boardwalk and skywheel yet, let this be the summer you do! Just a short drive from any of the Garden City Beach beach houses we have available, all of these events are open to the public.

On Sunday nights from 7-10 p.m. there’s an amazing drum display called “Whacker Barrel” not to be missed.
The Kid’s Carnival is held on Monday nights in Plyler Park on the new boardwalk. There will be a giant inflatable slide, bounce houses, face painters, stilt walkers and plenty of entertainers.
Enjoy a Live Concert Series on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. Just bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy the hottest bands in the area.
The Beach’s Best Fireworks Display is held on Wednesday nights at Plyler Park. Enjoy the spectacular display from the park, the boardwalk or from the beach.
New this year is Dixieland on the Boardwalk on Friday nights as you are serenaded by the strolling Dixieland Band. Get ready to sing along and stomp your feet as you enjoy some of the most inspirational sounds of the South.
