Every year Myrtle Beach South Carolina is a favorite vacation destination of tens of thousands of families. Some prefer the summer months of June-August while others come during the off-season; some even stay the winter. There are some important things you should know about coming for a Myrtle Beach vacation that will make your visit go as smooth as possible from start to finish.
A Place to Stay
Probably the most important thing to know about planning your vacation to the area of Myrtle Beach is to make your reservations well in advance of your arrival. At Surfside Realty we have our vacation rentals listed right here on our website and you can sort them by location, number of bedrooms, and price. We also offer specials on our accommodations in Myrtle Beach, Garden City Beach and Surfside Beach, too.
Our rentals come in a large assortment of sizes and are all well furnished and beautifully decorated for a most pleasurable stay. If you want to stay oceanfront we have many of those rentals as well. Look around our site and if you don’t find what you’re looking for just give us a call and we’ll be happy to assist you.
About Those Beach Tides
For anyone coming to spend their vacation at the ocean it’s important to be aware of the tides and conditions. If you’re bringing small children then it’s best to swim where life guards are close by. Low tide (when the tide is the fartherest out) and high tide (when the tide is the closest to the dunes) occurs twice a day – once in the morning and once at night. There are many tide charts online and smart phone apps available that tell you the time of every low and high tide on any given day. If you ever see signage indicating rip tides, it’s strongly recommended you avoid that area.
Are Pets Welcome Here?
We have many vacation rentals available where pets are welcome to stay with you. Be sure before you book your reservations that they are. Vacation rentals accepting pets will ask for a security deposit in advance.
The majority of public beaches in the Myrtle Beach area are pet-friendly during early morning hours or during late evenings year-round. However, pets are not allowed on the beaches or Ocean Boulevard between 21st Avenue North to 13th Avenue South of Myrtle Beach at any time. Pets are also not allowed to be walked on any public beach in Myrtle Beach between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from May 1 through Labor Day.
We look forward to your arrival in Myrtle Beach. If we can help you with your accommodations or answer any additional questions please give us a call at 1-800-833-8231 and we’ll be happy to assist you.
