North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, December 2, 2011, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The North Myrtle Beach Christmas Tree will be officially lit at McLean Park. The park will be transformed into a brilliant holiday scene with luminaries, decorations and the spirit of Christmas. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. and include holiday songs and entertainment by local dance groups. Once the tree has been lit, the children are invited to visit with Santa and receive a free bag of candy while the entertainment continues! The North Strand Optimist Club will serve complimentary hot chocolate and refreshments. Bring the entire family for a fun Christmas celebration.
Myrtle Beach Tree Lighting Ceremony
Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.
The Myrtle Beach tree lighting celebration will take place at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center with appearances by Santa, live entertainment, and other fun and festive holiday activities.
Ripley’s Aquarium Festival of Trees

Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is hosting its Annual Festival of Trees from November 1st until December 31. More than 50 trees will be on display throughout the aquarium and adorned in unique ornaments, representing the great diversity of the United States.
