Once you arrive there are some free events held throughout the summer in Surfside Beach that you’ll want to know about. Every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. there are Sunday Serenades held at the gazebo in Passive Park, 410 Surfside Drive, Surfside Beach. Bring a beach chair or blanket and come out to enjoy these free local concerts.
Beginning Thursday night, June 1 free and open to the public Movies After Dark will be held at Martin Park, 710 Dogwood Drive, Surfside Beach. Every Thursday night through the summer (with the exception of July 3), a free movie will be held from 9 to 11 p.m., weather permitting.
