If you’re in the area now and looking for some local events we have a couple to mention. Come out to the House of Blues on Saturday, March 29, for the 6th Annual Myrtle Beach Beer Fest. They’ll have two separate tasting sessions and more than 80 specialty beers to sample. Session #1 will be held from 2-5 p.m. and session #2 will be held from 6-9 p.m. All samples are 4 ounces and tickets are $35/person plus fees for each session. The event will also host live entertainment.
On March 29 you can lace up your sneakers and take part in some early Saturday morning exercise as you run or walk through the marshfront, oak-shaded streets of Murrells Inlet. The 2014 Race for the Inlet begins at 8 a.m. and the public is invited to attend the event. It will feature a 5K Walk and Run with optional chip timing, an 8K chip-timed Run and an 8K chip-timed walk. Come out and support Murrells Inlet, SC. Maybe we’ll see you there!
